He currently assists the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Limerick in the development and implementation of a programme of problem based learning.

He also lectures in the fundamentals of structural engineering mechanics for architects at the School of Architecture at the University of Limerick.

Over the past 15 years Philip has worked on numerous and a wide variety of projects ranging from small structural refurbishment projects to large industrial and residential developments.

Philip has over 15 years experience in Civil & Structural design and has project managed projects from concept stage through planning, tender, construction to handover. Philip has a sound technical grounding and has an extensive practical knowledge of construction methods. As a result of the variety of projects Philip has worked on, he has developed a communication skill that enables him to negotiate with other professional disciplines, contractors, trades and the general public such as effected parties.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
